Ratified Agreement

It is with great pleasure to announce to you that you have overwhelmingly ratified your collective bargaining agreement! The attached document is:

• Page 1 – Local 698 Official Ratification Results
• Page 2 – CSEA Janitorial Services Assistants & Security Guard Ratification Results.

DASNY’s management will be provided this information which will in turn be provided to DASNY’s Board of Directors. The BOD will meet on July 26, 2023, where we expect the Board to approve the contracts for both groups. Upon approval (full ratification), new and enhanced elements of the contract will be immediately effective.

I ask that you show tolerance and patience as management begins the administration of the contract including such elements like KRONOS codes and instructions for utilizing/charging for Limited Work From Home days, utilization of new Telecommuting application forms, new performance evaluation process, etc.

I am thrilled at the voter response, and also want to again thank your Negotiations Team. The vote response validates that decisions we made at the table on your behalf were the right ones. I’m very proud to have served with:
