Audit Committee

Audits annual financials of Local 698 ensuring Local 698 officers are in compliance with CSEA Financial Standards Codes and are upholding fudiciary responsibilities.

Reviews and approves the annual budget proposed by the Local 698 Executive Board.

Legislative Committee

Serves to communicate and advocate for legislation that positively impacts Local 698 members at DASNY. Creates member awareness around bills that impact DASNY and therefore Local 698 members.

Membership Committee

Richard E. Hohn Education Assistance Award – Sub Committee

Administers the bi-annual education assistance award process. Issues application and essay questions, review and rates applications, selects award recipients.

Negotiations Team (2026 — Contract)

Charged with negotiating the collective bargainin agreement by representing Local 698 members and issues that affect members. Engages in meetings, discussions and activities in preparation for collective bargaining. Presents a proposed contract to members for ratification.
